Yin yoga is a slow-paced introspective style of yoga where poses are held for 3-5 minutes, targeting the deep connective tissues, ligaments, fascia, and joints- rather than just the muscles. It's a practise of softening, where gravity and time do the work.

Yin yoga is inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy meridians. Yin encourages energy (Qi) to flow more freely through the body while promoting deep physical and emotional release.
